Jonathan Kohlmeier was diagnosed with Selective Mutism when he was 5 years old and Social Anxiety soon after. He completed his memoir, Learning to Play the Game, about his journey at the age of 19 and is passionate about confronting the stigma of mental health issues in society. He will share his reflections on his experience on being treated for selective mutism, the importance of finding a provider who has expertise in the area of, the critical need for school involvement, and so much more. We’ll also have a Q&A session, so feel free to bring any questions you may have.
